We therefore are able to fulfill your special requests due to our experience and professionalism. As regards violin models we truely follow the great masters Stradivari and Guarneri. It is these two makers by which we are really fascinated, their examples drive us.

Our demands are high. An excellently made violin needs a matching bow of equal splendor. Our family is knowledgeable in both, violin-making and bow-making. We are proud of our family tradition, and therefore supply only instruments and bows in best qualities. And beyond this, our aim is to strive for an ideal artistic expression. This search starts with each instrument anew. We are inspired by the stunning examples of the bows of Peccatte and Lamy, Knopf and Nürnberger.

Best quality instruments are a German trademark, especially as regards instruments from Frankonia, the heart of Germany. Since the 15 th century Nuremberg has been a centre of lute and violin making. The care for antiquities/antiques and ancient things in general is also shown in the neighbouring town of Bamberg – a world heritage sight of high renown. Embedded in the wonderful landscape of Franconian Switzerland our instruments and bows can carefully mature in our workshop until they are finished.
